These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Carvy mobile application and website (the "Service") provided by Carvy ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Carvy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Carvy. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Carvy uses artificial intelligence to analyse vehicle symptoms and provide informational diagnoses. These diagnoses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional mechanical advice.
You acknowledge that:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access at hellocarvy@gmail.com.
You agree not to share your account, create accounts using false information, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Free trial: Carvy offers a 3-day free trial. Your subscription begins at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before it expires.
Plans: We offer monthly (£9.99/mo) and yearly (£29.99/yr) subscription plans. Pricing in other currencies is localised based on your region.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Your chosen payment method will be charged at the start of each billing period.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period you will not receive a refund for the remaining period. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.
Price changes: We will give reasonable notice of any price changes. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

All content, software, branding, and technology within Carvy is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
By uploading documents to Car Vault, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content to you through the Service. You retain ownership of all content you upload.
Carvy integrates with third-party services including DVLA, DVSA, NHTSA and other technology providers. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of these third-party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carvy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to vehicle damage, personal injury, financial loss, or data loss.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law in your country grants you additional rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.
