Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using the Carvy Service. By downloading, installing, or using Carvy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service.
Affiliate means any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Carvy, where "control" means ownership of at least fifty percent (50%) of the equity interests or voting securities.
Application means the mobile application titled "Carvy — AI Car Diagnostics," including all related features, tools, content, and updates.
Company, We, Us, or Our means Carvy, the developer and operator of the Service, contactable at support@carvyapp.com.
Device means any device capable of accessing the Service.
Service means, collectively, the Application, the Website (carvyapp.com), associated software, AI-powered tools, and any services offered by Carvy.
User Content means any images, photographs, videos, text, documents, or other content uploaded, submitted, or transmitted by you through the Service.
You means the individual using the Service or the legal entity on whose behalf the individual uses the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Carvy. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be fully responsible for all activities conducted using the Service.
Carvy uses artificial intelligence to analyse vehicle symptoms and provide informational diagnoses. These diagnoses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional mechanical advice.
Carvy does not provide mechanical, engineering, or professional automotive services. All diagnostic outputs, cost estimates, and vehicle assessments are automated approximations and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
You acknowledge that:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access at support@carvyapp.com.
You agree not to share your account, create accounts using false information, impersonate another person, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
By submitting User Content, you represent that you own or have the rights to it. You grant Carvy a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, analyse, process, modify, and create derivative works from your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including training AI models.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, offensive, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights. Documents stored in your Car Vault are never used for model training.
Free trial: Carvy offers a 3-day free trial. Your subscription begins at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before it expires.
Plans: We offer monthly and yearly subscription plans. Pricing is displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
Billing: Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Their terms govern payment processing, renewals, and refunds. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not receive a refund for the remaining period, except where required by applicable law.
Price changes: We will give reasonable notice of any price changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
All rights in the Service (excluding User Content) are owned exclusively by Carvy or its licensors. This includes but is not limited to: the app, website, AI models, brand, design, diagnostic algorithms, and all associated software.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicence, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.
The Service integrates with third-party services including official government vehicle databases (DVLA, DVSA, NHTSA), cloud infrastructure providers, and payment processors. Carvy does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of these third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Carvy is building towards scale and may, in the future, engage in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of all or part of its business or assets. In such an event, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections described in our Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any such change and your rights in relation to it.
Carvy may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably determine to be harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, all rights and licences granted to you immediately cease.

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Carvy disclaims all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
AI-generated diagnostic outputs are provided "as is" and may contain errors. You use them at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carvy's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of:
Carvy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to vehicle damage, personal injury, financial loss, or data loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law in your country grants you additional rights that cannot be waived.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Failure by Carvy to enforce any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
